Pride & Prejudice

LMA and I started reading this today. Such a delightful book. Just lovely... It's wearing off, can you not tell? It's rated at a 12th grade reading level but LMA is reading it and I am just explaining anything that she doesn't comprehend. 5 chapters a night and she will have it read by the 1st day of school. My little 4th grader... My little romantic.

Go Cards

Went to the Springfield Cardinals game with work. We checked into a hotel before the game and checked right out - it was so terrible! At the game, E

liked the bouncy house and ice cream - the game - not so much. LMA on the other hand really got into the game. I think playing softball helped spark her interest. We ended up staying at the DoubleTree by Hilton. So much nicer! Another fun family weekend. Now, how to talk Jason into going to the mall...

Six flags... again!

We are really getting our money's worth this year! Had a fun day with the Gordon's! These kids have been buddies for years!!! And finally someone to snap a pic of me on a scary ride!

Love this silly girl. She said tonight that if she has a little girl she will name her Isabella but call her Dennis. Just a normal conversation while playing her favorite game... Chest (yes, that is what she calls it).
